imageBUENOS AIRES: Controversial former Italian international striker Pablo Osvaldo has moved to Argentinian outfit Boca Juniors on loan from Premier League side Southampton after ending a stormy loan spell with Serie A giants Inter Milan.

He was officially dropped from the Inter Milan squad by coach Roberto Mancini after missing two training sessions following an altercation with teammate Mauro Icardi during the 1-1 draw with Juventus last month and then after the game with Mancini.

"It's my greatest dream. I have come here to help the team (Boca Juniors)," said the 29-year-old Argentina-born forward on his arrival in Buenos Aires.

"I am very happy. It's 20 days that I've trained alone and it's not the same as training with the team but I hope to be back on top form as soon as possible." he added.

His troubles with Inter -- who he moved to after a loan spell with their rivals Juventus in the second half of last season -- may not be over according to Italian media reports at the end of last month.

La Gazzetta dello Sport said the San Siro giants have demanded 28m euros compensation from the striker.

The club have reportedly demanded 25m euros for breach of contract and a further 3m euros from the image rights the striker signed over to the club.

Osvaldo, meanwhile, is reportedly suing Inter for 3m euros for their refusal to allow him to enter the club's training complex during his unauthorised break from the club.

Osvaldo, who has also played for Fiorentina, Bologna and Roma, signed for Southampton in August 2013 for 15.1 million euros (£12.8m) but was fined and then suspended over his role in a touchline fracas in a league match against Newcastle.

He was then fined by the club for a training ground incident in which he allegedly head-butted team-mate Jose Fonte and was quickly loaned to Juventus in January 2014.
