Pakistan’s Babar Azam has taken the cricketing world by storm, after scoring not one, nor two but three back to back centuries against Calypso Kings, the West Indies yesterday, at Abu Dhabi cricket stadium.
The youngster has joined the elite club of cricketers shared by Pakistan run machine Saeed Anwar, and Asian Bradman Zaheer Abbas.
Babar achievement is meaningful in many ways, first it helped Pakistan to achieve a much needed series whitewash, which was essential to ease its direct entry into the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, 2018. Second, it was a signal that Pakistan could still produce match winning batsman, in the likes of other international superstars.
Pakistan cricket players too were generous in showering their approval towards Azam.
