imagePakistan’s cricket coach Mickey Arthur has urged green shirts to be ruthless and achieve a clean sweep against current world champions West Indies in the third and final Twenty20 to be played today (Tuesday) in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan has already won the bilateral series against the West Indies, thanks to an unassailable lead of 2-0 backed by a potent bowling attack and shrewd captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmed.

“We want to make it 3-nil. We are not celebrating before that. We are not going to be convinced by 2-1," the South African born coach said at the Shaikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Monday, reported Khaleej Times.

The clean sweep would mark Pakistan revival into the game’s shortest format, at current Pakistan is placed on 7th position at ICC’s Rankings for T20I.

"Without a doubt the series win is the first step in the right direction," he said.

Arthur who replaced Waqar four months ago was able to bring the much need transformation, thanks to his emphasis on player’s fitness and fielding, while trying to reduce the stress factors associated with failure, reported Sports360.

“It’s a fearlessness because we were always thinking in the back of our mind whether we would be playing the next game or not. Mickey has tried to communicate with his players and he’s taken the fear out of it,” said pacer Wahab Riaz on Mickey Arthur’s current strategy.

On the changes for today’s match, Arthur said, "We want to have a look at Amir and see him bowl. I'm quite keen to see how Wahab Riaz goes and will make that final decision on the day. Our left-arm spinners have got the wood over them and certainly won't be tempering with that."
