Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has warned his side to be wary of the hosts saying that the ‘series is not over yet’ and that the oppositions have all the required tools to bounce back.
According to a local media report, Misbah said, “There are still three more Tests to go, and England are a very good side. They are particularly good in their own conditions, and we know we have some tough sessions ahead of us and the series is still wide open.”
Pakistan cruised to a 75-run win over England in the opening match of the four-Test series at Lord's last week, thus clinching their first triumph on the venue in 20 years.
Misbah has described the win over England at Lord’s in the first Test as “special” and said he had always dreamt of seeing the team win at the ‘home of cricket’.
With the win, Misbah also became the fourth skipper after Imran Khan, Javed Miandad and Wasim Akram to seal victory at the iconic ground.
Meanwhile, the skipper has confirmed that the key leg-spinner, Yasir Shah would be fit to play in the second Test. The second Test of the four-match series will commence from Friday at Old Trafford, Manchester.
