imageYasir Shah was Pakistan's hero as the leg spinner took 10 wickets in the match to help wrap up a 75-run win in the opening Test on Sunday.

According to NDTV SPORTS, “My effort was to do well with bat, but I could not, so I tried to do it with the ball later on,” Yasir said. “The thing is the spinner is relied upon on the fourth and fifth day. I am fortunate that Mushy is here and Intikhab Alam is our manager. They share their experiences and we execute that on the ground.”

The Pakistan leggie became the first Asian bowler to pick up 10 Test wickets in a match at Lord’s. Shah also gets his name on the honours board at Lord’s. Yasir Shah said, “Proud moment for me when I saw my name on the honor's board at Lord's.”

It was a stimulating achievement for Pakistan, who was playing their first Test at Lord's since the infamous 2010 spot-fixing scandal.

Meanwhile, victorious captain Misbah-ul-Haq has praised the team of Pakistan and said, "I am really proud of the team, the way that they fought and just come out and show really good skills and mentally everyone was strong. It was a really good win for us," he said.

Pakistan celebrated their victory over England in the first Test at Lord's on Sunday. However, this was the first of four test matches that Pakistan will play against England. The second test match will be played between both sides on July 22 at Old Trafford.
