imageISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan chief selector Moin Khan has said that Pakistan Super League (PSL) would be beneficial for youngsters to surface themselves as emerging cricketers in Pakistan.

Talking to private news channel, former batter said that PSL would usher a new era for cricket in the country.

"We hope that PSL is going to play a vital role to nurture young talent in Pakistan", said Moin.

To a question Moin hoped that this league was nothing less than a revolution in Pakistan cricket adding he said the game would reap dividends from this league.

He said despite tentative beginnings, the potential offered by the event would definitely create immense opportunities for the players.

Former Captain said that first priority should be "quality cricket"; the crowd would follow the course automatically.

He further said that for young Pakistani talent on show at the PSL, there was great opportunity to share a dressing room with international stars from the other teams as well as from Pakistan.

To another question he said UAE was home for Pakistan cricket team and it has always been successful in gathering the bigger crowds for Pakistan cricket show.

He requested all the fans to come and watch quality cricket in Dubai and Sharjah.
