imagePakistan’s star player Shahid Afridi, after losing the only T20 match against Bangladesh said that senior players should vacate the place for talented juniors as they are the future of Pakistan cricket team.

According to local media reports, Pakistan’s T20 captain and seasoned all-rounder Shahid Afridi has said that senior members of the national cricket team should either step up their game or step down themselves to give a chance to new budding players.

Bangladesh white-washed against Pakistan in the ODI series and also faced a humiliating defeat on T20. Now Pakistani fans are looking forward for the Test series to be led by veteran Misbah-ul-Haq.

Ranked only eighth in one-day cricket, Misbah’s squad are fourth behind South Africa, Australia and England in the Test standings. Bangladesh is looking forward to improve their Test standing and to create history by beating Pakistan in the last series of Bangladesh tour.

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said, “If Pakistan have an experienced batting line-up, we too have a number of batsmen in form. And we have a better bowling attack and the fielding too is good. This will be a tight series,” local media reported.
