construction5 400HYDERABAD: A total of 50 new development projects worth Rs120 millions under MNA Fund have been approved for Jamshoro district at a meeting on Thursday which presided was over by MNA Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur.

 

The meeting attended by the officials of concerned departments reviewed at length the pace of work on ongoing development schemes and decided to launch 50 more development projects which included construction of roads, C.C. Block streets, supply of electricity and water to various parts of the district.

 

MNA Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur addressing the participants of the meeting asked them to ensure quality in completion of the projects and maintained that the Prime Minister's Inspection Commission will monitor these development projects by making surprise visits at the spots.

 

He made it clear that commission culture would not be allowed at any cost and all tenders of the contracts will be awarded on merit.

 

The government would not tolerate those who found in using substandard material in these development projects, he said.

 

Talpur while expressing its dismay over non completion of sewerage scheme in Khuda-ki-Basti and said that PMIC also pointed out the use of substandard material in this scheme.
