FAISALABAD: Business friendly government of PML-N is taking best possible steps to facilitate the businessmen and to provide the conducive atmosphere for the direct foreign investment in Faisalabad.
This was stated by Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah while addressing the oath taking ceremony of All Pakistan Sizing Association at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) here on Sunday.
Congratulating the newly elected office bearers, Rana Sanaullah said the government was fully aware of the problems being confronted by the business community and it was in this context that far-reaching policies were being implemented to create new job opportunities.
He underlined the importance of safe and speedy roads for the expeditious economic growth and said that motorway had been linked to interior city through Canal Express way. He also mentioned other mega projects undertaken in the city and told that first phase of Children Hospital had been completed while a 250-bed General Hospital was being established in Haseeb Shaheed Colony.
He said the water supply project was also in full swings which would ensure potable water to 15 million people of Faisalabad.
He further said that in next phase, the potable water would also be provided to hundred percent population of Faisalabad.
Rana Sanaullah said that a proposal was also under consideration to construct a new airport. As regard high court bench, he said that government was waiting advice from the High Court. He was appreciative for the efforts of DCO Noorul Amin Mengal and said that he was successfully implementing the government policies in addition to facilitating the local population.
About the problems of power loom and brick kiln industries, he said that Punjab government was committed to eliminate child labour as it was bringing bad name for Pakistan at international level.
He said that kiln owners should cooperative with the government in declaring this sector free from child labour.
He also urged the power loom owners to pay their contribution of social security so that its workers could get best healthcare facilities. The function was also addressed by MNAs Hajji Akram Ansari and Mian Abdul Mannan.
They said that MNAs and MPAs were fully discharging their responsibilities to facilitate the masses.
Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz President FCCI also addressed the meeting and congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the Sizing Association.
