ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said parliament was the right forum to discuss issues being faced by the country.
He said continuity of democracy was the only solution to put the country on path of progress. That was why, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had rendered great sacrifices for it, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said the last general elections were held in a fair, free and transparent manner.
Replying to a question regarding protest rallies of PTI, he said protests could not halt the development work launched by the present government. The rallies cannot divert the attention of the government from the basic issues, he added.
He said the PML-N was making efforts to resolve the issues of common man and for this, all important steps were being taken to make the country a prosperous state, he added.
