KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 343 to Rs 49,371 per 10 grams in the local market Friday as its international price increased to $ 1,675 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also climbed by Rs 400 to Rs 57,600.
However, silver closed lower at Rs 917 per 10 grams.
