imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 51.21 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5038.85 points and closed at 5090.06 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.556 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.478 million shares, showing an upward move of 78,300 shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 37 moved up, 10 shed values and 57 remaine equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Pak Suzuki Motors Company Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 9.18, Rs 8.48 and Rs 5.30 respectively.

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Kot Addu Power Company and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.75, Rs 2.59 and Re 1.00 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 802,500 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 608,500 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 391,000 shares.
