KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and corn were allotted berths on Qasim International Containers Terminal and FAP Terminal during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile two more ships scheduled to load/offload containers are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 95% at the Port on Wednesday where total number of ten ships namely CGM Mozart, Nedlloyd Barentsz and Ananya Naree, AMS Pegauses II, Shipphire II, Unicorn Emerald, Ocean Drover, Fair Chem Steed, Chem Road Vega and Cape Barks are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, corn, live stock, chemical and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo Volume of 87,732 tonnes comprising 44,021 tonnes imports and 43,711 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,095 containers (Boxes) were handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
