QUETTA: Unidentified men have blown up a gas pipeline of 18-inch diameter in Chhattar area of Jaffarabad district.
Police sources said that unknown men attached explosives with a pipeline supplying natural gas to Och Power Plant and detonated it.
As a result of blast, a portion of the gas pipeline was damaged.
The Sui Southern Gas Company sources said that technical teams of engineers have been dispatched to the affected site to repair the damage portion of the pipeline.
A case has also been registered against unknown accused. Further probe was in process.
