KARACHI: The K-Electric has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NED University's Mechanical Engineering Department whereby KE would sponsor their Formula Racing Car to compete in the upcoming Formula SAE in Italy.
A KE official said here on Friday that this would be the first and the only team representing Pakistan in Italy this year where 250 teams from around the world would be competing.
Teams from USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Japan, Brazil and Australia would be present for this competition which is going to be held at the Varano de' Melegari Riccardo Paletti Circuit, Italy from July 22 till 25th.
Formula SAE (FSAE) is one of the biggest global engineering design competitions which focuses on small Formula-Style race cars and their design and manufacturing.
Team NED Formula Racing is led by Muhammad Ahsan Arshad and Muhammad Rafi.
Spokesperson K-Electric said that the company is proud to partner with this dynamic team which would be representing the National Flag in Italy this year. We would want more of our youngsters to step forward with such innovations and KE which believes in giving back to the society, would lend its hand for maximum support.
