ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Javed Iqbal.
Grieved to learn the passing of Dr Javed Iqbal, a jurist, scholar and philosopher. His death is a great loss for Pakistan, he opined.
‘Son of the great philosopher and poet Allama Iqbal, Dr Javed Iqbal leaves behind a wealth of writings on Islam, philosophy and law,’ he added.
Javed Iqbal, a former chief justice of the Lahore High Court, passed away in Lahore at the age of 90. He was under treatment at the Shaukat Khanum hospital.
