imageISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of renowned Urdu writer and novelist Abdullah Hussain who passed away in Lahore this morning.

In his message to the bereaved family, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt condolences while lauding the services rendered by him for promotion of the national language and enrichment of Urdu literature.

He described his death as a loss to the nation especially the literary circles, according to a PM House statement.

The Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the family to bear this loss.
