MULTAN: Police claimed to have arrested 57 criminals including 41 proclaimed offenders (POs) during ongoing drive against criminals across the district.
According to police their teams conducted separate raids and arrested 41 proclaimed offenders wanted in dacoity, robbery, theft and other crime cases.
Police also arrested four drug peddlers, five illegal weapon holders, and recovered 21 litre liquor, one kg hashish, one repeater and 12 bullets from their possession. Seven gamblers were apprehended with stake money amounting to Rs 13,150, police said.
Police have registered separate cases against the accused.
