LAHORE: Garden Town police claimed to have arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs. 85,000, three LCDs, five PTCL sets, six mobile phones and a register used for gambling, during crackdown against bookies.
On a tip off, DSP Garden Town led the special police team which conducted a raid at a plaza situated in Barkat Market and arrested the accused involved in gambling during Cricket World Cup matches.
Police have registered a case against the accused.
