KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui reviewed the progress of ongoing cleanliness campaign at schools and colleges.
The meeting presided over by the Commissioner here on Monday, also decided that the Commissioner's Youth Team will actively participate in the ongoing "Clean, green and peaceful Karachi" campaign.
The meeting was told that a safety programme is under way at educational institutions.
The Youth Team briefed the Commissioner about their meeting with Director General Schools Mansoob Siddiqui and said they had presented him a list of schools where the team intends to launch a programme to create awareness about dealing with an emergency situation.
Deputy Commissioner Central Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman, Director Local Government Rubina Asif, Director Planning and Development Syed Muhammad Shakaib and other officials attended the meeting.
