imageMULTAN: The Police Saturday claimed to have arrested 72 criminals including 34 proclaimed offenders during separate raids across the district.

According to the police, They raided at various locations and arrested 34 proclaimed offenders and five court absconders who were wanted by police in different cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes.

The Police have apprehended 16 drug peddlers and nine illegal weapon holders while recovered 102 litre liquor, two KG and 20 gram hashish, seven pistols, one revolver and 32 bullets from them.

Six gamblers, one profiteer and on outlaw while doing wheelie was also arrested by the police.

Cases have been registered against the accused.
