ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has extended relief assistance worth one hundred thousand dollars to the drought hit people of Niger.
According to Radio Pakistan, the cheque was presented by Pakistan's Charge D'Affairs Dr Manzoor A. Chaudhry to the Prime Minister of Niger Brigi Rafini the other day.
The Prime Minister of Nigeria thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the government of Pakistan for the assistance.
