PARACHINAR: The Political Administration's officials seized 35 shells of artillery from a vehicle near Pak-Afghan border in Kurram Agency and arrested two accused.
Kurram Agency Political Agent, Riaz Khan Mehsud told media persons that 35 shells of artillery were seized from a vehicle near Pak-Afghan border that was being smuggled to Kurram Agency for subversive activities and two accused riding the vehicle were arrested.
He said that acting on a tip off a successful operation was conducted in which the attempt was foiled to smuggle out lethal arms and ammunition to Kurram Agency.
The accused were arrested and shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.
