ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Capital Administration and Development (CAD) Nazar Muhammad Gondal on Friday lauded the political parties for exhibiting maturity to strengthen democracy in the country.
Talking to a private television channel, he said that political parties had supported the government im resolving the issue arisen due to Dr Tahirul Qadri's long march. The government had agreed to the demands of Tahirul Qadri falling under Constitution, he added.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believed in the policy of reconciliation and dialogue. That is why it resolved the long march issue with wisdom through dialogue, he added.
"It is because of the policy of reconciliation being followed the PPP that democracy is flourishing in the country, " he said.
