imageFAISALABAD: Pakistan Auto Parts Manufacturers, Importers and Exporters Association (PAPMIEA) has demanded the government to announce new auto policy for the benefits of people as well as auto spare parts dealers and manufacturers.

Talking to APP here on Monday, a spokesman of the PAPMIEA said that the government had taken a number of steps for boosting up the national economy with the consultation of respective trade bodies and this act of the government had a positive impact for enhancing the economic activities to manifolds.

He said that it was imperative that the auto sector, which was playing key role in national economy, should also be encouraged and a viable and practicable policy was requirement of the day so that the manufacturers and the dealers of the auto sector would also evolve strategy to run their business.

He claimed that if friendly auto policy was formulated with the consultation of the stakeholders, it would help in further accelerating the economic growth of the country and converting Pakistan into a most progressive and investment-oriented country.
