MULTAN: A convention of farmers and seed dealers will be held at Rahimyar Khan on Saturday (April 11) to promote sowing of registered seed varieties for enhanced production.
The convention was being organized on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
Punjab Seed Corporation (PSC) Managing Director Khaqan Babar would preside over the convention to be held at seed processing plant of PSC at Bahadurpur Rahimyar Khan, says a release issued by agriculture spokesman.
Agriculture officials, director RARI Bahawalpur, assistant director agriculture information Naveed Asmat Kahlon would also attend the event.
