FAISALABAD: The district food department will procure 149,000 metric ton wheat during current procurement campaign starting from last week of current month.
The department has set up 11 procurement centers for purchase of wheat from growers at different points across the district, said an official here on Friday.
He said that distribution of gunny bags (Bardana) among wheat growers will begin from April 20, for which all arrangements have been finalized
