Govt removes Mohammad Younus as finance secretary

The federal government removed on Thursday Mohammad Younus Dagha as secretary finance and replaced him with Naveed Kamran Baloch.

A notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat/Establishment Division has instructed Dagha to report to the Establishment Division with immediate effect.

A separate notification has also announced that Baloch, who was earlier posted as cabinet division secretary, has been appointed as finance secretary, local media reported. Maroof Afzal, who is currently posted as secretary of the Information Technology and Telecommunication Division, has been made the secretary cabinet division.
