KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 46874.37 points with negative change of 250.75 and volume of 82,620,610 shares.
High and Low were 47182.86 and 46809.19 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 164,450,990 shares with 364 total traded companies out of which 121 were up 228 were down and 15 were unchanged.
CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 20,686,880 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 19,975,500 shares.
The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 15,834,000 and price per share of 8.00 (0.12), Sui South Gas with a volume 6,802,500 of price per share of 40.15 (0.06), Dewan Motors with a volume 4,780,500 of price per share of 32.52 (1.54).
The top three advancers were Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share 1911.00 (61.00), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1499.40 (39.87) and Shell PakistanXD share of 611.00 (29.09).
The top three decliners were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share of 9400.00 (242.50), Sapphire Fiber. price per share of 1092.50 (50.35) and Wyeth Pak LtdXD share of 2321.56 (36.38).
