MULTAN: Police have finalized a security plan for Youm-e-Ali (RA) as 3,280 personnel will perform duties in the district.
Holding a meeting with SPs here on Saturday, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Azhar Akram said four SPs, 13 DSPs, 23 inspectors, 1,544 constables, 64 lady constables and 1,380 PQRs would be deployed for security purpose.
He directed all SPs to visit mourning procession routes and directed officials to remain alert.
He also directed officers to ensure CCTV cameras, metal detectors and walk through gates for foolproof security to avoid any untoward incident.
