KARACHI: Three ships C.V New Jersey, M.V Jewel at Dubai and M.T Karachi schedule to load/offload containers, rice and furnace oil were allotted berths at Qaim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.
Meanwhile six more ships with containers, soya bean seeds, diesel oil and palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was managed at the port 60% on Sunday where a total at nine ships namely, C.V New Jersey, C.V MSC Beijing, C.V MSC Antalya, C.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Jewel of Dubai, M.V Da Zi Yun, M.V Pobal, M.T Gaslog Singapore' and M.T Karachi were occupied PQA berths to load/offload containers, rice, general cargo, canola seeds, palm oil and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Two containers, ships, MSC Antalya and Safmarine Ngami sailed to sea on Monday morning, while another LNG carrier 'Gaslog Singapore' is expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Three ships C.V ER Yokohama, C.V Al-Hilal and M.T GSW Frontier carrying containers and palm oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and Liquid Terminal respectively on Monday, while another ship M.V Yuang Hang is due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day, and two more ships C.V Maersk Detroit and C.V CMA CGM Othello are due to arrive on Tuesday.
