ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Wednesday issued notices to all the respondents in bureaucrats' promotion from BPS 20 to 21 case after hearing an intra-court appeal filed by the federation against the orders passed by a single-bench recently.
In about 61 petitions the federation made different officials as respondents.
The petitioner stated that being aggrieved party, appellants preferred the instant appeal against the short order dated July 27 passed by a single bench of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui.
During the course of proceedings, Afnan Karim Kundi, Additional Attorney General (AAG) informed the court that in the current month, the Central Selection Board (CBS) would meet and might the affectted be promoted.
The division bench comprising Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamir Farooq observed that till the issuance of detailed order the court could not take up the matter and issued notices to the respondents with direction to submit reply in the court.
The matter was adjourned till September 9.
