KARACHI: The two-day "PROCOM.net 2014, All Pakistan Programming, Engineering and Business Competition", will be held on April 9 and 10.
The event is being jointly organized by Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology FAST and National University (NU), of Computer and Engineering Sciences, at the main campus of the FAST-NU, Shah Latif Town - National Highway here, said a statement.
PROCOM.net 2014, focuses on technology and skill-based human resources with the ultimate goal of eliminating socio-economic and industrial challenges facing Pakistan today.
Students from different universities, colleges and professionals from across Pakistan will be attending this two-day event, to compete, showcase ideas, attend seminars and network with experts from the industrial and academic sectors.
Dean and Director IBA Karachi, Dr. Ishrat Hussain will be the chief guest in the opening ceremony on April 9, at 10 am.
Policy Head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Asad Umar, will chair the closing ceremony on April 10, at 7pm.
Besides notables from the provincial ministries, government officials and educationists are also expected to attend the occasion.
