imageISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani called on Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House here on Monday and exchanged views on overall security situation including tension on LOC and war against terrorism.

Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif was also present during the meeting.

Sources said that the Prime Minister exchanged views with the Army Chief on security matters that he wanted to tell the people in his address to the nation.

The sources further said that the new national security policy and possibility of dialogue with the Taliban also came under discussion.
