SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up 0.25 percent in early trading Tuesday after a sharp fall the previous session on worries over the eurozone and the country's new stock regulatory chief, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 5.51 points to 2,245.53 after falling 1.68 percent on Monday.
