ISLAMABAD: Minister for Postal Services, Sardar Muhammad Umar Gorage on Wednesday said former President Pervaz Musharraf was responsible for Balochistan crisis.

Talking to media after planting a sampling as part of spring tree drive at the premises of Ministry of Postal Services, he said present government has initiated several development projects in Balochistan to improve the living standards of common man and to overcome the problems being faced by the masses.

Commenting on recent political situation in the country, he said that government was following reconciliation policy, which he termed as beauty of the democratic process.

He said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership has rendered many sacrifices for democracy and it has faced several challenges to put country on development path.

He said steps are under way to further improve the postal services by providing the state-of-the-art services to people across the country.

Gorage said his ministry would promote banking sector to improve the business activities in future.

The minister assured that Pakistan Post will not be privatized, adding that job creation of job opportunity for the educated youth was the mission of PPP government.
