PORT-AU-PRINCE: Earthquake hit Haiti has been given 200 million dollars in aid by the Inter-American Development Bank, the Washington-based development lender said Sunday.

IADB chief Luis Alberto Moreno said the funds would be disbursed over 10 years as assistance and not a loan. A catastrophic January 2010 quake killed over 220,000 people mostly in the Caribbean nation's capital area leaving massive damage.
