Hollywood actor-filmmaker Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and her husband Brat Pitt were officially married in California before their secret nuptials in France last year.
According to foreign media reports Jolie said, “Before the wedding in France with the kids, Brad and I were already married in California. As Americans, we couldn't marry legally in France”.
The ‘Unbroken’ director has also shared how the wedding really went down, which presumably took place in California. She said, “One day I said to Brad, 'Let's meet up at 4:30 pm?' I called a justice of the peace and we signed the documents”. Reportedly, it was previously claimed the pair got a marriage license before heading to France, handed over by a Californian judge. Now Angelina has said they in fact signed the papers and made their nuptials legal back in the United States, media reported.
The couple have been together for ten years and engaged since 2012. They have six children, and Angelina Jolie recently confessed that marriage changed things even though their family was established prior to it.
