KFC taking note of this change in its diners has launched an ingenious new device i.e. a takeaway chicken box that is also your smartphone charger.
Yes, you heard it right, the KFC ‘Watt a Box’ is a box for its 5-in-1 meal that features USB, micro-USB and Lightning connections, even including cables to charge your mobile devices, so you can charge it while you eat.
So where are they, unfortunately, these amazing boxes won’t be widely available, at least for the time being they are limited to India. As these limited-edition boxes, which include a detachable 6,100mAh Lithium-ion battery, USB cable and Apple lightning cable, are being offered in a week-long contest run on KFC India's Facebook page at a handful of outlets in Delhi and Mumbai, reported The Times of India.
"With the launch of Watt a Box, we have gone a step ahead and also introduced an element of utility into the box. Each one of us spends a considerable time on our smartphones daily, and the phone battery going dead is almost like a nightmare! No longer is that the case, with the Watt a Box around" said Lluis Ruiz Ribot, CMO, KFC India.
