BEIJING: China will roll out nationwide tiered-pricing system for residential power starting July 1, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said in a statement on Thursday.
The NDRC expects less than 10 percent of the residents will need to pay higher electricity tariffs under the new scheme.
