PESHAWAR: The politicians and economic experts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa here Friday termed the two days visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Tajkistan was highly successful and inclusive in all respect.

They said the Prime Minister had made in-depth meetings and discussions with the head of states of Tajikistan and Afghanistan during his two days official visit at Dushanbe and highlighted Pakistan's efforts for promotion of regional cooperation, trade, business and connectivity besides countering terrorism.

Sardar Aurganzaib Nalota, PMLN Parliamentary leader in KP Assembly told APP that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has visited Tajkistan on the invitation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmoon, which remained highly successful, goal-oriented and inclusive in all respect.

He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had held detailed meetings with Tajik President and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and they expressed the resolve to jointly work together to promote regional cooperation and connectivity for shared prosperity.

Nalota said under development, poor connectivity, infrastructure, extremism and terrorism were the common challenges confronted to the regional countries, which could only be eradicated through regional connectively, promoting bilateral trade and investment besides enhancing sustainable economic and social development.

He appreciated the stance of Prime Minister who emphasized Pakistan's commitment to modernize facilities for speedy transit of goods to and from Afghanistan and Tajikistan through Pakistani seaports for regional peace, promoting trade and economic prosperity.

Muhammad Naeem, Assistant Professor, Economic Department University of Peshawar also declared the visit of PM highly successful and very positive.

He said the Prime Minister was very right to emphasize on the early finalization of Trilateral Transit Trade agreement in order to streamline regional transit traffic for shared economic prosperity.

Professor Naeem said that quick measures were required for early implementation of the CASA-1000 project which was a harbinger for power transmission from Central Asia to South Asia and promoting sustainable economic and social development in the region.

Rushad Khan MPA also declared the visit of PM highly successful that would have far reaching effects on days to come.

He said Prime Minister had made defence of Pakistan impregnable in 1998 and was now making Pakistan an economic Asian tiger.

He said Pakistan economy has started flourishing that was also recognized by the top monetary institutions of the world.

He said PMLN has strong roots in masses and would form next Government in all the provinces due to record development works.
