Central Ruet e Hilal Committee to hold Shawal moon sighting meeting in Peshawar

KARACHI: Chairman, Central Ruet Hilal Committee of Pakistan, Mufti Munib ur Rehman here on Thursday announced to hold its "moon sighting" meeting in Peshawar on June 25.

The meeting, he said will be to witness the moon for Islamic month of Shawal, 1438 Hijra, and to make relevant decision in accordance to Shariah.

Maulana Munib ur Rehman, through his communication, has also invited people from across the country to approach the committee members via phone numbers 091-2043428, 0334-3326120, 0300-6329700,0300- 5947909 and 03359626669 if may have sighted the Shawal moon in their respective areas of residence.

The Central Ruet Hilal Committee meeting was said to be held at Aiwan e Auqaf - Eidgah, Charsada Road, Peshawar.
