RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 52985.78 with a positive change of 838.81 and volume of 93,149,520 shares.

High and Low were 53103.21 and 52146.97 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 313,934,210 shares with 379 total traded companies out of which 223 were up, 148 were down and 8 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 77,127,500 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 63,108,950 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel (R) with a volume of 8,224,000 and price per share of 8.40 (0.96), Habib Metropol. with a volume 6,632,000 of price per share of 38.60 (1.42), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 6,623,500 of price per share of 7.81 (0.03).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2666.00 (126.95), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 1102.44 (52.49) and Mari Petroleum share of 1680.00 (41.22).

The top three decliners were Jubile Life Ins with price per share of 697.00 (31.90), Wah-Noble with price per share of 281.21 (14.80) and J.D.W.Sugar per share of 515.00 (10.64).
