ISLAMABAD: Spokesman to the Prime Minister Dr. Musadik Malik Saturday said decision of Supreme Court to constitute a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has validated stance of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on the matter.
Talking to a private news channel, he said after revelation of Panama Papers, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had said in his speech to form a commission of Supreme Court to investigate the matter.
He said the opposition parties had rejected the offer of the Prime Minister and now the apex court has ordered to form JIT.
Dr. Musadik said resignation of Prime Minister was wish of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf but he would not resign on the desire of opposition parties.
He said the Prime Minister was elected with the votes of people and would continue to serve them till completion of five year term.
