Karachi: On the instructions of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and others visited different areas of the city and distributed one Lakh national flags amongst citizens in connection with the Pakistan Zindabad Rally of PTI, scheduled on March 23.
PTI Sindh senior vice president Haleem Adil Sheikh started the campaign of distribution of the national flags from the Millennium Mall and distributed the flags amongst citizens, shopkeepers, vendors and pedestrians.
PTI women workers also played an active role in the campaign.
Later, they distributed the flags in Gulistan e Johar, Safoora, Sachal Goth, Chippal City, Suhrab Goth, Al-Asif Square, Gulshan e Iqbal and other areas. Talking to media on the occasion, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that in the past this peaceful city was pushed to hatred and ethnic polarization.
Today; however, the PTI is staring a campaign to distributed one Lakh national flags in the city which would further increase the traditional zeal and fervor of the Karachiites to celebrate the Pakistan Day in a befitting manner.
He said today our leaders and workers are distributing the national flags in different areas.
He said the Quaid of the whole nation is Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Haleem Adil said that to develop this nation we all have to jointly struggle and complete the mission of Quaid e Azam.
He said the people who used to raise anti-Pakistan slogans in the past are no more present in the city today.
The people of Karachi have rejected them. He said our message is to encourage the people to come out of their homes and convey message of Pakistan to everyone.
He said with the unity and solidarity our country would be further strengthened, so that the internal and external enemies of Pakistan could not harm the country.
He said we have to save and develop this country for our coming generations and present it to them as the true Pakistan of Quaid e Azam.
He stressed the need of forging unity in the ranks and files of all Pakistanis.
PTI women leaders also distributed flags amongst the people. On the occasion, PTI leaders Ali Mir Jatt, Nusrat Wahid, Meraj Khan, Awaz Gul Khan, Arshad Shah, Ahmed Ali Baloch, Attahullah Khan, Ubaid Khan, Dua Bhutto, Iqra Kanwal, Siddira Qureshi and other leaders were present.
