KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that if the MQM chief Altaf Hussain is talking about new provinces other than division of Sindh, then his party supports his stance.
Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, Sharjeel Memon said people of Sindh would not accept division of the province at all.
He said that law and order situation in Sindh especially Karachi city was unsatisfactory and it would be better to concentrate over this issue rather than opening new Pandora boxes.
Sharjeel Memon said that the federal government needed to take solid steps for fulfilling the masses’ expectations.
He said that uncertain law and order situation of Karachi has not only added to the miseries of the citizens but also adversely affected the trade activities in the business hub of the country.
The Sindh information minister said that Karachi accommodates millions of people hailing from the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK also and violence in the metropolis has deprived them of livelihood.
