KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has announced a peaceful `day of mourning' across Sindh on Thursday to protest against the alleged kidnapping and killing of its three sympathisers in Malir.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the party's Rabita Committee has appealed to the people belonging to different walks of life to observe a peaceful `day of mourning' on Thursday across the province to protest against the alleged kidnapping and killings of party workers and sympathisers.
The Rabita Committee appealed to traders and transporters to keep their businesses shut on Thursday to voice their protest against the acts of oppression.
