SC constitutes five benches including larger bench for next week

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted five beeches including a larger bench at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the next week,starting from Monday January 7.

The first bench is comprised of Chief Justice,Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed,second bench consist of Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain while the third bench of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali,Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmany and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan.

The Larger bench would be consist of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja ,Justice Khilji Arif Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed.

While the special bench is comprising Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali,Justice Tariq Pervez, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan,Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sh.Azmat Saeed.

According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case.

Besides, no adjournment on any ground will be granted.
