ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Political Affairs Mola bux Chandio on Thursday said that the Kalabagh Dam was a national issue, which should be resolved with the consensus of all the provinces.
Chandio told APP that the provinces had differences over the Kalabagh Dam. It would not be feasible to build the dam until all the stakeholders reached an agreement over the issue.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led government was interested in launching the mega projects, including the Kalabagh Dam, but not at the cost of natioanl unity.
