SYDNEY: Credit Suisse has hired Mark McLean from Deutsche Bank as head of its Australian investment bank's Financial Institutions Group, two sources with direct knowledge of the development said.
McLean comes from Deutsche's UK operations and replaces Malcolm Ezzy who left Credit Suisse late last year.
Before Deutsche, McLean was a top banker at Macquarie's FIG team in Australia, where he led deals such as insurer Promina's nearly A$2 billion IPO in 2003, the sources said.
